McKinney, TX - February 11, 2016 - The Dallas Charge and Morgan Melloh have reached agreement on a new two-year deal. Melloh was a pivotal part of the 2015 Charge pitching staff that helped them reach the Championship Series in their inaugural campaign.
Charge General Manager, Kevin Shelton, commented, “Bringing Morgan back has been a focus this off season. Solidifying the bullpen is critical to our success. Re-signing Morgan goes along way in getting that done. She pitched a bunch of important innings for us last summer and delivered some outstanding performances leading to big wins. It is good for our players and fans to have her quality in the circle.”
Melloh tossed just over 73 innings in 2015, collecting three wins while posting a 2.39 ERA. She pitched six complete games including two shutouts. Melloh struck out 47.
