Kansas City, KS – Danielle Henderson, delivered a bases clearing double in the top of the 4th inning to give the Charge a 4-2 lead. The Charge tacked on an additional run in the top of the 7th to help secure the win. Vanessa Stokes earned the win in the circle allowing 2 earned runs. Honda Award winner, Lauren Haeger, collected the save, hurling the final three innings.
The win was the first over the Pride and stopped the Charge four game losing streak to the 2014 NPF Champs.
The Charge will take on the Pride again tonight at 7pm at Community America Park in Kansas City.
