Charge Announce 2016 Schedule

McKinney, TX – December 9, 2015 – The Dallas Charge’s second season in the NPF includes 50 regular season games over 72 days.  The squad, based at the Ballfields at Craig Ranch in McKinney, will play each of the five other clubs in the league 10 times.  23 of those contests will be in the friendly confines of Dallas Charge stadium at Craig Ranch.

The Charge will open the season on the road against the Rebellion on June 3rd.   After seven road dates the Charge will open at home against the USSSA Pride with two games on Tuesday Jun 14th and 15th.

After a long home stand that features series against the USSSA Pride, Akron Racers, Scrap Yard Dawgs and Chicago Bandits, the Charge will again go to Colorado.  The Charge and the newest NPF Team, the Scrap Yard Dawgs will compete in three contests in multiple venues around the Denver area.

The Charge will host four weekend series over the summer as well as hosting the Rebellion on Monday July 4.

The 2016 campaign will include a 13-day road trip that takes the Charge to Kansas City, Akron, Chicago and Houston.

Throughout the summer the Charge will visit seven different cities including each team’s home park as well as a visit to Lancaster, PA to face the Rebellion, Kansas City where the Pride will play double headers against the Charge and Dawgs and a few venues that have yet to be determined.

The Charge will finish the regular season with six games at home.

National Pro Fastpitch enters its 13th season of competition in 2016. League affiliate teams are experiencing increased attendance in-venue, while also enjoying a comprehensive national television presence over the past two seasons on CBS Sports Network. Television coverage for the 2016 season is expected to be announced in January.
