Danielle Henderson Re-signs with Charge

McKinney, TX- December 11, 2015 – Dallas Charge General Manager Kevin Shelton announced today the extension of Danielle Henderson through the 2017 season.

Henderson returns for her second year in the league.  She was the Charge first ever draft pick.  The Cal Alum was will continue to be an important part of the Charge infield.

“Danielle’s rookie year was consistent, and we expect her performance to continue to improve as she gets more comfortable in the league,” said GM Kevin Shelton.  “We are going to count on her contributions this summer.”

Henderson commented, “Words can’t express how excited I am for another opportunity to put my Dallas Charge uniform on and help lead the Charge. Our inaugural season was so successful that I can’t wait to see what is in store for the Charge next season. It’s safe to say I’m charging up for another season with such amazing athletes.”

“I’m very pleased at the way the roster is coming together for the near term and future seasons.  Stability and consistency will help us continue to improve and put ourselves in a position to compete for a championship each summer.  Can’t wait to get started in 2016,” Shelton said.
