- Parents are Mickey and Joe Henderson, both of whom attended Idaho State
- Best sports moment was when her Lady Magic team won 16U nationals in 2008, when she made the last out of the game by catching a line drive from a slapper
- Goes by the nickname Hendu, which she’s had since she was eight
Sister, Sister: Though they may have strikingly different hair, Danielle is the younger sister of senior Jolene Henderson. Jolene often comments that she made Danielle choose Cal so that Danielle wouldn’t hit homers off her. Though he’s not on the softball team, the eldest Henderson sibling - David - is also a student at Cal.
Dr. Hendu: Danielle would love a career as a pediatrician because she finds it amusing to entertain little kids. She has always found an interest in the medical field because doctors and nurses change people’s lives every day.
Why I Wear My Number: I’ve had the number 8 since I started softball. I started with it because it was my mom’s favorite number and I have had it ever since! When I didn’t make the all-star team and was in tears, my sister took number 8 for me.
